National Youth Festival 2023

The National Youth Festival 2023 was organized by the Youth and Sports Department of Udupi District, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), and the Dr. G. Shankar Family Trust, Ambalpady, Udupi. The event took place on 15th January 2023 (Sunday) at 7 AM at Manipal End Point, Manipal, where participants gathered for a unique event aimed at setting a record for the Yogathan Guinness World Record 2023

Around 15,000 students from various schools and colleges across the Udupi district participated in this event, showcasing their commitment to promoting health and well-being through yoga.

Among the attendees, 180 students from CSI Lombard Memorial School and College of Nursing participated, accompanied by their faculty members Mrs. Malathi and Mrs. Vijaya. The participation of such a large number of students highlights the importance of community engagement and youth involvement in promoting physical fitness and wellness.

This event was a significant milestone for the youth of Udupi district, not only for participating in a world record attempt but also for fostering unity, health consciousness, and teamwork among students from different educational institutions.
